COMMUNITY GARDEN UPDATE (March 2008)
The Macquarie University Community Garden Club has made a successful transition from its old site to its new site at the corner of Culloden and Talavera Roads at Marsfield. The site is adjacent to the entrance to the Universities sports fields.
The site was kindly made available to the club by Deirdre Anderson of U@MQ with the assistance of the Macquarie University Sustainability Committee.
The new site is much bigger than the old one and we have been able to accommodate a great many more new members who have been actively participating in the development of the new site.
Anyone who wishes to be involved with the Garden can come along to one of our regular working bees, which is held from 4 p.m. onwards on the first Sunday of each month.
Any enquiries should be emailed to: markhall1 (at [bigpond.com]).
