• Club AGM 2006: The club's Annual General Meeting to elect a new committee etc, will be on Thursday March 9th from 4.30-5.30 PM @ SAM bar upstairs terrace - nomination close 4 pm that day

• O-Week 2006: Monday Feb 27 - Thursday March 2 - club stall in courtyard - to join email Michael.Cunningham@psy.mq.edu.au

• August 11, 2005: Competition time draw made for knockout competition involving all 64 members - just email me the result by the dates included in the draw sheet on the Fixtures and Results Page - ROUND 1 ENDS SEPT 2

• Tuesdays and Thursdays (note time change for Thursdays above) - Sem 2, 2005: Play ladder games for club rankings(see Fixtures & Results page)

• Outdoor Chess - on the terrace outside the cafeteria, the paving is laid out for outsoor chess with large pieces - if we can locate them, how about a game there some evening?

• Chinese Chess - some members have shown an interest in learning about Chinese Chess - if anyone can bring a board and show club members about it, that would be great

• August 1-3, 2005: MACFEST - Chess Club stall (shared with Community Garden) - drop by for a game and encourage friends to join - stall open Monday (Mike) - not on other days unless members volunteer

• June 10, 2005: See you all in Semester 2 - remember, there is a chess board behind the bar at SAM so you can play there at any time
